Do you love to create something spectacular and then get paid for doing what you love the most?
I know I do and it’s the dream for many. If you’re reading this then the chances are that you do too, or at least are a little curious about how you might get started. If so, welcome along for this crazy rollercoaster ride.
The purpose of this website is to help you create great art, generate ideas and then get your creativity out there in the world where it can do the most good. It may also help you to discover the absolute pleasure of finding people who love what you do and are willing to pay you in return for what you create.
Here you will find tools and techniques to help you along the way. Most of these I’ve tried and tested myself along the dizzying highs and subterranean lows of my own artistic adventures as a creative entrepreneur. Some are new ideas which have yet to be tested in this crazy science lab we call Life. I’ll let you know which is which!
Being an artist and a creative entrepreneur is hard work and it can take all the time, persistance, passion, sacrifice and dedication you can muster. If you’re looking for a get rich quick scheme and fast track to art stardom you should probably look elsewhere. If I do discover a magic formula along the way so that you can confidently quit your day job I promise I’ll post it here so you can be instantly transported to art paradise without all the messy bits in between. Until that glorious day the life of an artist and creative entrepreneur will be your exhilirating one way ticket to artistic heaven or hell. I’ve visited both to different degrees during my personal quest (which continues). For most of us that have the creativity bug we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s instinctive and something we’ve just got to do no matter what!
If you are just starting out you could save yourself a serious amount of time and money by checking out the tips in this website. If I’ve been there, done that and bought the T-shirt I’ll endeavour to tell you. There are no absolutes though, and I suggest you take all the good stuff that works for me and adapt it to your own situation and circumstances. This site is both a starting point on your journey and a road map along the way, however, if you use susequently wander off to find even more fertile territory for creative entrepreneurs then feel free to drop me a line and tell me of your further adventures.
